The Works

As part of our Client's strategic staff relocation plan we have been asked to provide the structural analysis of a large new mezzanine floor within an existing prototype warehouse alongside the River Thames, to accommodate additional office areas, meeting rooms and bars.

Due to its proximity with the river, the site's works require the justification of the existing foundations to accommodate the increased loads created by the new floors. Symmetrys have also created new openings within existing suspended reinforced slabs. Symmetrys have also been exposed to the security challenges of working in an airport environment i.e. "land side", "air side".
