This Grade II building in Camden, North London was split between a house and a basement flat. Symmetrys brief was to provide structural solutions for the full renovation of the property and to provide substructure and superstructure designs for new extensions.
The property was extended into the front coal-holes in the front of the property and at the rear a new extension was designed to reflect the Georgian proportions and materiality of the existing building. Due to the listing of the building and the extension of the basement, Symmetrys also provided a Basement Impact Assessment for a successful planning application.
