Chris Atkins was lead structural engineer on this new sports complex, alongside our CAD Manager John Strawson.
The building comprises a 25m swimming pool, a multi-purpose sports hall, gymnasium, fitness suite, cafe plus a full range of changing rooms and support facilities. Located on a sensitive green belt site, the scheme took advantage of the naturally sloping topography and derives maximum benefit from panoramic views into adjoining woodland. An international venue for a school with a strong focus on sports.
