The Image that Inspired the Design
Jessica Swinton of Symmetrys spent countless hours at Wolverhampton Achieves, sifting through historic records related to Beatties, Wolverhampton. Her timely and extensive research was key in gathering details about the existing structure, allowing the team to optimise proposals which would place massing on buildings that had capacity and subsequently reduce structural strengthening by 90% in comparison to the previous scheme.
During her investigation, she uncovered an original image of the front elevation, which became the inspiration for the design direction in the recently submitted S73 Application.
