Symmetrys have been appointed by our client to carry out the sub structure, superstructure and drainage design of a new stand alone retail unit at Enfield Retail Park.
The profile of the new steel framed unit can be split into two as follows:
- A double height unit with cranked perimeter columns that will have sufficient height to accommodate a mezzanine floor. The frame will be portalised and braced at both roof level and around the perimeter.
- A single storey structure with tight floor to roof height restrictions born out of the existing planning restrictions. This frame will also be portalised and braced at both roof level and around the perimeter.
