Symmetrys was appointed structural and civil engineers, to carry out the structural design of this new build single domestic property near Aylesbury.
For planning purposes this part subterranean structure was cut into the ground level and new reinforced concrete retaining walls were formed around two thirds of perimeter. Underground heat pumps, Milton ring drainage, ‘Durisol’ block work, internal air re-circulation systems and specialist roof glazing all contributed to the sustainable aspect of the build.
