The Works
Great Suffolk Street is a historic Grade II listed warehouse in Southwark that has largely been untouched for 40 years.
Symmetrys have been employed as Structural and Civil Engineers on this sensitive refurbishment that we put life back into this amazing, honest, building that includes impressive floor to ceiling heights and cruciform cast iron columns throughout.
The project will utilise reclaimed steel salvaged from a demolished building in Broadgate. The project will put life back into a derelict but much-loved local building that’s currently on the Heritage at Risk register, offering a sensitive mix of the old and new.
