There are some companies who are just part of the fabric of your growth. Having worked with Stiff + Trevillion for more than 17 years, they are exactly that. It makes what we do far easier when the design team can collaborate and understand one another.
Sometimes the results aren’t too bad either.
The objectives for Tranquil House were to design a high quality, sustainable house that complemented the character of the surrounding area and the adjoining buildings. Working within the strict guidelines of a Conservation Area, the team have delivered a beautiful home by reconfiguring the ground floor which created a contemporary open plan living area. A lightweight rear extension forms a perfect frame to the rear garden and also supports the structure at the existing Victorian outrigger. A new loft area with new dormer has also been carefully crafted to create extra living area.
Symmetrys were engaged to carry out the Structural and Civil Engineering Design.
