The Works
Chamfer House was a significant refurbishment and extension to a Victorian terrace in Dollis Hill.
The new ground-floor arrangement, inclusive of the new extension, adds a significant amount of floor area with natural light from the rooflight and large sliding doors to the garden. The house has also been substantially reconfigured at first floor. The layout has been carefully unpicked and reassembled more efficiently with some clever architecture.
The works also included the conversion of the loft together with a new dormer that is clad in zinc. A new large rooflight enables natural light to flood down from above the new staircase right down to ground floor.
