The development will provide 50 later living apartments, with facilities including a restaurant, café, salon, gym, as well as quality outdoor spaces. The scheme replaces an existing council run care home on the site which was closed in 2012.
The existing hardstanding site will be demolished and a new building and basement constructed.
Due to the nature of the project and existing site constraints, limited SuDS options are feasible. However, attenuation tanks are proposed to store surface water run off and restrict the site discharge rate to adhere to conditions stipulated at planning.
