The Works
We are delighted to have been commissioned by the world famous artist, Mr Doodle with Hollaway Studio, to design the structures and the civils of his private artist’s studio in the grounds of his home in Kent.
The studio will stand separately from the main house as an individual sculpture in its own right within beautiful landscaped grounds. The studio will be wrapped in metal sheets that will be laser cut to reflect doodle shapes created by Mr Doodle himself. The cube shaped structure will comprise Mr Doodle’s studio at ground level with huge walls to hang canvases on, including lots of storage spaces and a small kitchen and a lounge area to receive clients.The new saw tooth roof will offer amazing light into the studio. There will be a new mezzanine area which will form the working area of the studio.
A large pond area is situated in front of the studio which will be considered for the storm-water strategy for the site.
