The Works
The Old Suffolk Punch is a two-storey Victorian building that makes a positive contribution to the conservation area. The building will be extended both vertically and horizontally, with the building’s historic façade remaining in place. The new structure will accommodate new homes and a new hotel.
Symmetrys successfully mitigated the site’s flood risk by introducing flood resilience measures, guaranteeing the safety of the occupants during the unlikely simultaneous event of a flood defence breach and a surcharge of the public sewers.
