The Works
Symmetrys undertook detailed design of this double storey basement at Pembridge Place, London. The proposal involved the retention of the front façade as well as the flank walls. A double storey basement was formed along the perimeter of the existing building, using a top down construction method.
The site boundary conditions were particularly challenging, and we had to draw on our vast construction experience to propose structural solutions that were carefully co-ordinated.

We utilised highly skilled contractors who we work with on a regular basis. Internally all walls were demolished, and a new three storey super structure construction formed to restrain the existing façade.
