Symmetrys has been appointed to carry out the structural and civil engineering designs for the refurbishment and reconfiguration of an old Bottle Factory, converting it into creative office accommodation. The client has a desire to protect and retain the remaining traces of the heritage structures wherever possible.
Don’t Demolish Refurbish
The building dates back to the late 19th century and is built from London yellow stock brick, and has natural slate roofs. It has a large prominent gable to the east elevation, facing a cobbled yard, while a range of ancillary buildings stand opposite the main factory to the east.
